College football season has begun!

This was an exciting weekend in the Morgante household, the first weekend of college football!  Chrystal and I have already begun the process of fighting over what team Harper will end up rooting for.   The only issue is that the Buckeye and Longhorn outfits we have for her are still WAY too big so we had to go with an OSU bib and a very large Texas onesie which makes her legs look even thinner than they really are (if that was possible).

While she is pretty cute either way I personally think she looks just a little bit cuter in Scarlet and Grey.  However, I am a little scared she has already chosen an allegiance in this last picture taken just before the Texas game started.

2 Week Birthday

On Thursday we had our first trip out of the house other than going to the doctor's office.  We decided to make it a good trip by going out for some ice cream.  We had heard there was a Handel's in a suburb of Philadelphia just about 30 minutes from our house and have been meaning to get there so we thought it was as good a time as ever.   I appreciated that even in the Philadelphia area they were serving "Go Buckeye" ice cream!  It is also nice that Harper is really great with car rides and was asleep for the entire trip (there and back).

As of yesterday, Friday, Harper is officially 2 weeks old.  Here is her most recent pic.  We have another doctor's appointment next week and are eagerly anticipating her weigh-in keeping her fingers crossed she has put on a few more ounces.

Harper Grace Morgante

We are excited to announce the birth of Harper Grace Morgante.  Harper was born at 10:09am on Friday, August 3rd and was 5 lbs, 8oz and was 18.5 inches long.  We have been home for 10 days now and other than the lack of sleep we are getting along just fine.  Below are some pictures of our adventures so far.
